This is Brown Willie Ferguson, the son of Louis H. Ferguson, the son of Elizabeth Louisa (Betsy) Daniel Ferguson Wolfe, the daughter of Pheraby PENNEY and Lewis Howell Daniel, the lst of this family to migrate to Drew Co. by way of Holly Springs, MS (Fayette & Haywood Counties), TN (Wake & Johnson Counties) , NC. The spelling of the Lewis/Louis name is to be noted as it is derived from the famous Lewis family of VA, who spelled it Lewis. In the early years, most of the children carried this name as they wanted to be associated w/this family background, which can be traced back to Augustine Warner I, a descendent of the late Queen Mother of England and Queen Elizaberth, as well as back to the biblical King Soloman. As time passed, they lost their knowledge of this heritage and began to spell it Lou or Louis. Augustine Warner II is the grandfather of George Washington and Robert E. Lee. Merriwether Lewis was a brother to Lewis Howell Daniel's mother, Elizabeth Lewis Daniel, wife of Zadock Daniel.
