I'm searching for information on my gggrandfather Green DOTSON, he was born in Tennessee, but moved to Arkansas in the early 1800's. I have land records that he bought property in 1839, then considered Izard county and 1857 and 1860, then changed to Fulton county as of 1842. He married Mary PORTER and had 2 children that I know of; one son James Porter DOTSON and a daughter known only as Dink who married into the HACKWORTH family. I know that James Porter DOTSON was born in Agnos, Pleasant Ridge Township in 1863. Any information on Green DOTSON would be greatly appreciated. Would be happy to share the info I have on family from James on.

I am looking for the parents of Sarah L.PUGH (married name is HATMAN). She acquired a
piece of land in 1901 in Izard County. The land was in Section 2 Township 18N and Range
8W. She was born in March 1854, died in 1924, and is buried in Wiseman Cemetery. Sarah
Pugh married William HATMAN. I am looking for any record of William HATMAN also. They had
at least one child, Cordelia Sophrona Hatman on Feb. 1, 1890. They may have had a son,
Daniel in 1885.
Cordelia HATMAN married Joseph Milburn HODGES (born on March 29, 1886) on May 12, 1907, in Washington, AR. They later moved to Kingfisher Co., OK.
I am also looking for Franklin Pierce HODGES who was married to Martha Jane WARD. This may have been a second marriage. Franklin and Martha are Joseph's parents. Franklin had at least two other sons by another marriage. Their names are Lloyd and Leland HODGES.
Addition: The other information I have on Sarah L. PUGH HATMAN: According to the 1900 census she was a widow. There are no records for William HATMAN (her husband) at the Wiseman Cemetery.

parents are James Haley b. abt 1804 in VA, m. 30 Jan. 1828 in Williamson Co., TN to
Clarissa TAYLOR b. in NC, living with them in the Izard Co., AR 1850 Census was a Jane
TAYLOR b. in NC in 1790. Is she Clarissa's Mother? These families along with other Bedford
Co., TN families moved to Izard Co., in the late 1840's. James and Clarissa are the

SKIDMORE in Izard County, Arkansas. My ggrandmother was Millie Skidmore. She moved from
Calico Rock, Arkansas to Indiana in 1923. I believe (although I'm not sure) that she was
born in Arkansas in 1893. She married Tilford MINTON in either Kentucky or Arkansas.
Family rumor has it that she was at least part Native American. Any info on SKIDMORE

Researching the family lines of Henry and Dorcus Copeland Lee. They were married in
Overton Co., Tn. 1808 and moved to Wayne County, Tn. We are trying to locate
"all" of the children of Henry and Dorcus Lee. Henry Newton, James F., and
William Lee of 1850 Rocky BA, Izard Co., Ark. Census are thought to be sons. Also, looking
for Copeland relatives. In 1850 there was a John, William, Wesley, and maybe others of the
Copeland family in the same area. We think that Rev. Soldier John Copeland is the father
