Pine Grove, CA 95665
We are seeking any information on the mystery man of my family, my paternal Grandfather,
Calvin Frank WEBBER, born 21 March, 1844 in WASHINGTON, Arkansas. We don't know which of
the Washingtons in Arkansas that is; the County of that name, one of the two Towns or of
the thirteen Townships in the state. Then there are parent counties. At any rate I do know
from the family bible that his mother's given name was Nancy and that on the 16th of
August, 1876 he married Matilda Frances (Fannie) OWENS in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. She
was born 9 Feb, 1859 in Mena delivered most of the nine children she bore to Frank in Hot
Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, died 9 Apr, 1912 back in Mena and was buried in the
same Owens Chapel Cemetery outside Mena, where Frank was buried after his death 16 Aug,
1900. We know a good deal about most of their descendants, but nothing more of Grand-dad.
If you could enlighten us on any point concerning this mystery man, the entire WEBBER
family will be eternally grateful, and I thank you.

Rt 3, Box C18
Comanche Ok 73529
Recently I had access to the Izard County Cemetery Records. I found many Jennings, but not
ROBERT LEE JENNINGS. A relative told me they found his grave, near a church of unknown
denomination, across the hwy (or they turned across from Zion) from the community of Zion.
(I have never been to the area, so am ignorant of which I speak.) Is there an old Zion
Cemetery? I am thinking perhaps it was an older publication, not your new updated one,
that I had access to. Do you have any cemetery records for a Robert Jennings? I do not
have dates for him, but I know his son, (my g-grandfather) William Philetus Jennings was
born 1877, supposedly at Zion. Robert Lee Jennings and his wife Eliza Roeanna Gray
Jennings died relatively young. Some of their children lived with an "Uncle
Dick" Jennings. I have no verification that the family was still in Izard County at
this time. Thank you for any information. Please let me know of any fees involved. I am
planning to visit the area this summer, and wish to visit their graves if at all possible.
Thank you. 4/15/98
