Obituary for Henry A. Spoon DEATH- Henry A. Spoon was born February 22, 1900 at Elijah, Missouri, died November 7, 1839 at Memphis Baptist Hospital at Memphis, Tennessee. Burial was in Tyronza Cemetery, near Marked Tree, Arkansas. He leaves his wife and six children to mourn his passing, his mother, three sisters and one brother, Charles E. Spoon of Douthat, Oklahoma. Mrs. Minnie Langley of Arditta, Missouri; Mrs. Mary Coble of Clovis, California; Mrs. Ida Estes of Bakersfield, his mother also of Bakersfield, his father having proceeded him in death four years. Obituary for Henry A. Spoon Henry A. Spoon was born February 22, 1900, at Elijah, Missouri, and died November 7, 1939 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He has lived at Marked Tree, Arkansas, the past four years. His death came as a shock to his relatives and friends as he was only ill a short time, death being due to double pneumonia. He leaves his wife, who formerly was Miss Ona Hall and six children, who are Vernon Eugene, age 13; Dorothy D., 12; Rose Marie, 8: Shirley Ann, 7; Charles, 6; Kenneth, 4. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. H. C. Spoon of Douthat, Oklahoma, three sisters, Mrs. Ida Estes of Bakersfield, Missouri, Mrs. Minnie Langley of Hocomo, this county, Mrs. Mary Coble of Clovis, California and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his loss. His father proceeded him in death four years ago. He was a member of the Pentecostal church and was converted and baptized last August, and lived a devoted Christian life.
