Most of the elementary school teachers attended the annual A.E.A. meetings in Little Rock. Margaret Daniel and I shared a room at the Lafayette Hotel -- very near the Robinson Memorial Auditorium. We walked to the auditorium and attended the night meeting. After the meeting we walked along with others (it wasn't dangerous back then). When we reached the hotel, we decided to go to the Arkansas Theater (across the street) to see a movie. It was about midnight when we got to bed!
