Mr. Seal had resided in Idabel the past three and a half years and had many friends who will be saddened by his death. Mr. Seal was taken ill in August, 1927, and spent much of the past year in hospitals in the hope of regaining his health. All the knowledge of medical science was resorted to without avail. "Come thou blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." The deceased was a native of Tennessee, having been reared near the city of Nashville. He was a kindly, princely man; never was he known to speak ill of his neighbor; always ready to contribute toward the upbuilding of the cause of Christ, an earnest, zealous Christian man, one who feared God and kept his commandments. Surviving him are his wife and two sons, John and Wheeler Seal, who formerly resided in our city. Funeral services were conducted by WA Merrill of Shawnee, and WW Starnes of Idabel, in Shawnee, from the Gaskill Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 and interment was made in Shawnee under auspices of the Masonic Lodge.
